Design Wear Studio started from a specific frustration. The Sri Lankan market had t-shirts. Just not interesting ones. We thought that was worth fixing.
Where it all began
We started in Sri Lanka with a frustration a lot of people here share. The local market had options, just not good ones. International brands with real design behind them either did not ship here or cost twice what they should. Sizes were a guess.
So we built something for people who want to wear something where somebody actually made a decision. The designs are specific: botanical and Japanese street art influences, mechanical creatures, retro-future geometry, Sri Lankan landmarks pushed into something you would not immediately recognise.
Everything is printed on demand using DTF. Direct-to-Film handles fine lines and gradients cleanly. It holds through washing in a way standard heat-transfer prints do not.

Quality we don't cut corners on
We use 220 GSM single jersey fresh fabric with a 65% cotton and 35% poly composition. It gives us the balance we want between structure, softness, breathability, and print stability.
Design that starts with the art
We work with artists who care about the detail. The brief doesn't start with what will sell. It starts with what the concept actually demands.
DTF printing, done properly
DTF handles gradients and fine lines cleanly. The colour holds after washing, which is the real test most other methods fail.
If something's wrong, we sort it
Contact us, describe the problem. We'll review it and make it right. Not because of a policy document somewhere. Because that's what a small studio has to do to keep customers.
Printed when you order
Nothing sits in a warehouse. Your order goes to print when you place it, which means we catch problems before they ship and you get something made for your order specifically.

The details we don't skip
Most brands do not think much about fabric weight, print registration, or how a package arrives. We do. Not because we have a process document for it. Because we would not be happy receiving something nobody had thought about, and we assume the same goes for you.
We stand behind what we ship. If it is not right, we replace it or refund it.
When something is not right
The satisfaction guarantee is not a tagline. If your order has a defect or a print error, email us. We look at it within 2 business days. Replacement or refund, whichever makes more sense.
We are a small studio. We cannot afford to be careless about this, and honestly we would not want to be. Every customer who comes back is someone we earned.
